Kumbi Partners is a strategic advisory firm dedicated to Africa. We offer in-depth knowledge of decision-making processes, political dynamics and economic realities that shape investment and public policy.
We assist investors in identifying appropriate contacts, assessing the alignment between national priorities and business opportunities, engaging with decision-makers and advancing their projects in complex environments.
Our work seeks to reduce uncertainty, inform decisions and support the effective implementation of initiatives.

Kumbi Partners takes its name from Koumbi Saleh, an ancient city in the Sahel, situated along trans-Saharan trade routes and traditionally associated with the Ghana Empire.
In the eleventh century, the geographer Al-Bakri described the kingdom's prosperity, the importance of its commerce and its political organisation. This legacy of trade and institution-building inspires our purpose:to connect skills, capital and opportunities, encourage promising initiatives and contribute to lasting, shared prosperity.
Our approach is grounded in three principles: independence, rigour and clarity. We provide practical recommendations while respecting our clients' autonomy.
We draw on international best practice and take account of the political, economic and administrative circumstances of each country and sector.
Sound judgement, method and pragmatism guide our work. We favour clear objectives, appropriate solutions and a realistic assessment of available resources.
Our knowledge of decision-making structures and political dynamics enables clients to assess the issues at stake, anticipate difficulties and exercise discernment in the conduct of their projects.
Our mission is to inform the decisions of leaders, public authorities, businesses and investors through independent analysis and in-depth knowledge of African realities, and to guide them in setting their priorities and putting them into practice.
